Drew Todrys, the fourth generation of the family that founded Todson Inc. about 60 years ago,is joining the company as its social media operative.
Drew is the son of longtime Todson leader Neal Todrys. Neal took over the company from his father, Alfred, who retired in 1998 and is now 88 years old. Alfred's father, Otto, started in the company in the U.S. in 1946.
Drew is graduate of NYU with a degree in communications. He will oversee all social media activities for the Todson brands, including Topeak, Onguard and Velox.
Also joining Todson is Mark Petree, a former New England rep for Trek Bicycles. Petree will be "Topeak Brand Champion" and will focus on the brand development and market penetration of the Topeak line at the IBD level.
