The Lighting Association Laboratories(LA Laboratories)have been re-branded as the LIA Laboratories,to reflect the creation of the Lighting Industry Association(LIA).
This follows the merger of the Lighting Industry Federation and the Lighting Association earlier this year.
A spokesperson for the LIA said:our planned future growth is a strategic investment to assist with the changes in standards and developments in technology for existing and future markets,so that we can continue to meet the challenging needs and expectations of the industry.We have many exciting developments planned for the coming months.
Peter Hunt,joint CEO at the LIA,said the merger had brought many benefits which included one voice to UK government and to Brussels,a potential reduction in duplicated efforts and importantly a broader and improved range of services to members.
